I will show you how to make it look like there is a video in your craigslist post. It works better if you have an actual video to put on youtube. See the final result here.

Heres what I used to make it look like theres a video on my craigslist posting, while linking it to my actual site.

Make your video, if you already have one great, and upload it to youtube. Your video picture will have more credibilty when people see the youtube logo.

When your video is uploaded go to the edit video section on youtube, so the video does not autoplay and you get the words on top. Use Alt+ Print Screen to take a snapshot of your browser.

Open up your picture editing program, I use PaintDotNet, and paste the screen shot in.
Select the Video area and trim!
Trim the picture and your end result should look like this.

Now take your picture, make a craigslist posting using <a href="[link to your landing page]"><img src="[image location]" alt="" /></a>
